Learning Guides
A Learning Guide is the place where the the summary of given module happens. A Learning Guide lays out for the learner the big picture and gives them the roadmap they need to approach the course in a logical and confident manner. For the Instructor, the Learning Guide gives us the chance to put the course together in a way that makes sense. As we develop the course, we see what works and what doesn't, what to keep, and what is extraneous, where there are gaps and where there is excess. To prepare this Learning Guide I used Form 9 adapted from Robin Smith's Conquering the Content (San Francisco: Jossey-Bass, 2008) Two sample modules for my course are given below.
